Team Formation for Phase 2 Evaluation

To participate in Phase 2 of the Evaluation, participants are requested to  form teams. Teams are limited to a maximum of five participants and each participant can only be a member of a single team. Teams of 1 participant are also ok.

We strongly encourage you to look around, interact and get in contact with other challenge participants during the entire duration of the challenge. The best place to do this is on our Discord Server. We believe that this will help us build a stronger community, to connect with each other and discuss interesting solutions.

To incentivise you to form teams, we are going to provide an advantage to larger teams. In phase 2 of the challenge, each participant will have a maximum of 3 submissions. By joining together into a team, participants can pool together their submission counts and effectively get more submissions for their method. Thus, teams of 2 people, for example, will be able to make 6 submissions on the eval leaderboard (3 per team member). Larger teams get more submissions and more freedom to experiment with different methods and solutions. When a participant of any team wins, the entire team wins with them.  

Building your team is up to you. However, if you are struggling to team up, you can contact the organizers and they will do their best to put you in contact with existing teams that you may join. 

Team registration will be open throughout Phase 1 from February 15th to March 1st. When you are ready to form a team, you will have to fill in this form with the details about the team name, number of participants and the team members.
